ANB Canada Reports Delay in Submission of Annual Audited Financial Statements

Reading Time: < 1 minute

ANB Canada Inc., a corporation based in Markham, Ontario, has recently announced that it has not filed its audited annual financial statements, management’s discussion and analysis, and related officer certifications for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023, by the filing deadline of April 29, 2024.

The delay in filing the Annual Filings is attributed to minor delays in completing the year-end audit, as the corporation’s management has been engaged in dispute negotiations with its logistics provider regarding billing practices. This has hindered the timely provision of necessary information to the auditors, RSM Canada LLP. However, the corporation is actively working to resolve these issues and expects to file the Annual Filings no later than the week of May 27, 2024.

Failure to file the Annual Filings by the prescribed deadline may lead to Canadian securities regulatory authorities issuing a general cease trade order against the corporation.

ANB Canada Inc. specializes in providing turnkey over-the-counter sales and distribution services to manufacturers in the Canadian Food, Drug, and Mass marketplace. The corporation not only markets, sells, warehouses, and distributes consumer OTC brands but also assists manufacturers in navigating Canadian regulatory guidelines.
