Heart fans have something to look forward to this summer as the iconic rock band is set to kick off their Royal Flush Tour after a long hiatus. But that’s not all – there may be new music on the horizon for the duo of sisters, Ann and Nancy Wilson.
The last album released by Heart was in 2016, titled Beautiful Broken. In a recent interview with Billboard, Ann Wilson hinted at the possibility of new music being in the works once the tour wraps up. While she didn’t reveal too many details, she expressed a desire to collaborate with her sister on writing new material.
One new song that has already been in the works is “Roll The Dice”, co-written by Sue Ennis, a member of Lovemongers. Ann mentioned that they have been working on demos for the track and may even perform it during their upcoming tour.
In addition to new material, Ann has been revisiting unreleased songs from Heart’s back catalog, including a mysterious track called “Sweet Deceiver”. She expressed a love for albums and the idea of potentially releasing a new Heart album by the end of 2024.
Fans can expect a mix of classic hits and possibly some new tunes during the Royal Flush Tour, as the sisters continue to explore their musical creativity. With the anticipation building for both the tour and the potential new music, it’s an exciting time to be a Heart fan.
