Appalachian State Tennis Loses in Sun Belt Championship Final

In a thrilling showdown at the Sun Belt Tournament, the App State Tennis team gave it their all but ultimately fell short against Old Dominion in the championship match. Despite their valiant efforts, the Mountaineers were unable to secure the victory, ending their incredible run through the tournament.

The seventh-seeded Mountaineers surprised everyone by making it to the championship match after defeating James Madison, Marshall, and Troy. They became the lowest-seeded team to make a championship appearance since 2019, showcasing their determination and skill on the court.

App State started strong by taking two doubles wins to secure an early 1-0 lead, a trend they had maintained throughout the tournament.
