April 12 Education Updates: News, Sports, and Job Opportunities

Two Cape Coral students have recently been recognized for their academic achievements at prestigious universities.

Faye Robinson, a student at Ohio University Patton College of Education, has been named to the university’s Fall 2023 Provost’s List. This honor is reserved for high-achieving, part-time undergraduate students who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have completed between 6 and 11.99 credit hours for letter grades. Approximately 1,800 part-time undergraduate students qualified for the Provost’s List in the fall semester of 2023.

In addition, Cheri Hill, a student studying Echocardiography at Oregon Institute of Technology, has been named to the 2023-2024 winter term president’s list. To receive this honor, students must have achieved a grade-point average of 3.70 or above. Oregon Institute of Technology, founded in 1947, is known for its exceptional programs in engineering, health technologies, business, and more.

Both Robinson and Hill have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and have been recognized for their hard work and dedication to their studies.
