The 31st edition of Dubai’s annual Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is set to be a grand affair, with organisers expecting a record-breaking 41,000 visitors this year. The event, scheduled to take place from May 6 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will see participation from over 2,300 exhibitors representing 165 countries.

One of the highlights of ATM 2024 is the significant increase in participating hotel brands, up by 21% compared to the previous year. Additionally, there has been a 58% rise in new travel technology products being showcased at the event. Several new destinations will be introduced at ATM 2024, including China, Macao, Kenya, Guatemala, and Columbia, while returning countries include Spain and France.

Organisers have reported growth across all key verticals, with year-on-year increases in visitor numbers from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in driving tourism development in the emirate.

The event will also feature a dedicated India Summit on the opening day to highlight the recent outbound travel boom in the market. Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, expressed excitement about the lineup of events, including the return of the Global Stage and the introduction of the new Future Stage.

Emirates, Dubai’s flagship carrier, will showcase its latest products and sustainable aviation practices at the event.
