Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Play as Both Shinobi and Samurai in the New Game

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Ubisoft has set the gaming world abuzz with the official unveiling of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the latest installment in the popular open-world franchise. Set in feudal Japan, the game introduces players to dual protagonists: the samurai Yasuke and the shinobi Naoe.

Scheduled for release on November 15, 2024, Assassin’s Creed Shadows promises a unique gaming experience with its dual protagonist system. Players will have the opportunity to switch between playing as Naoe, a stealthy ninja from the Iga Province, and Yasuke, a Black samurai with a rich historical background. Each character comes with their own set of skills, weapons, and playstyles, allowing gamers to fully immerse themselves in the world of feudal Japan.

In addition to the dual protagonists, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will also feature evolving weather and seasonal mechanics. Players will have to adapt their stealth tactics based on the changing seasons, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay. The game will also introduce a network of spies, ally recruitment, and hideout customization, giving players a chance to truly make their mark on the world of Assassin’s Creed.

Fans can expect to see more of Assassin’s Creed Shadows in action when Ubisoft releases a gameplay trailer next month during its Ubisoft Forward presentation on June 10. The game will be available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Amazon Luna, offering a diverse range of platforms for players to experience the thrilling world of feudal Japan.
