Grace Ubawuchi, a young entrepreneur and founder of the frozen cocktail company Xin and Voltaire, has been recognized in the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 Europe Art and Culture list for 2024. The list highlights exceptional individuals under 30 who are making waves in their respective industries.
Ms. Ubawuchi, a graduate of Aston University with a degree in business and international relations, first conceptualized her frozen cocktail company during a placement year in 2017. Since then, Xin and Voltaire has grown to offer four different flavors and is available in 300 locations across the UK and Europe, including upscale establishments like Mandarin Oriental UK, Selfridges, and Soho House.
Despite the challenges of freezing alcohol, Ms. Ubawuchi’s innovative approach and collaboration with Parisian pastry chef Nina Metayer led to the development of the necessary food technology to create her award-winning cocktails. In fact, two of the company’s cocktails won bronze awards at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2023.
The Forbes profile on Ms. Ubawuchi highlighted her dedication to building the Xin and Voltaire brand and her gratitude towards those who have supported her journey.
