ASUS has just unveiled its latest laptop, the Vivobook S 15 (S5507), powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite SoCs. This new laptop is also one of the first to receive the Copilot+ PC designation, highlighting its AI processing capabilities and hardware specifications.

The Vivobook S 15 features a sleek redesign on the outside, but it’s what’s inside that sets it apart. With the Snapdragon X Elite processor, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-8448 RAM, and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, this laptop offers impressive performance. While it lacks Thunderbolt 4 support, it does come with a pair of USB4 ports.

In terms of display, the Vivobook S 15 sports a 15.6-inch 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 gamut, DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, and 600 nits of peak brightness. It also features single-zone RGB lighting controlled by Windows 11’s Dynamic Lighting feature.

One of the standout features of the Vivobook S 15 is the new “exclusive AI app” called StoryCube, which promises to revolutionize the way users manage their digital assets. Additionally, the laptop comes with various AI features found in Windows 11, such as Adaptive Dimming and Live Captions.

ASUS has announced that the Vivobook S 15 will be available in Malaysia in early Q3 2024, with pricing and availability details expected to be revealed soon. With its powerful hardware and AI capabilities, the Vivobook S 15 is set to be a strong competitor in the laptop market.
