The Air Force women’s tennis team is gearing up for their final match of the 2024 dual season as they prepare to take on New Mexico at the Cadet Gym in USAFA, Colo. The match is set to begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 19.

Before the match kicks off, the Falcons will be honoring their team captain, Isabella Flodin, who is set to graduate from the Academy in 2024. Flodin, a political science major with minors in French and Spanish, will be heading to Strasbourg, France, to pursue a graduate degree before starting flight training.

The Falcons, who have a combined 20 singles wins this season, are led by freshman Nadia Kojonroj, who boasts a 7-5 record. Flodin, Alexis Odom, and Arianna Van Houweling each have four wins apiece. In doubles, Air Force has ten wins, with the line two duo of Kojonroj and Odom leading the way with four wins.

In their last match against Wyoming, the Air Force women’s tennis team fell 4-0, with Wyoming clinching the doubles point on lines three and one. Despite the loss, the Falcons put up a strong fight in singles play, with Flodin, Kojonroj, and Odom all battling hard in their respective matches.

As they prepare to take on New Mexico, the Air Force women’s tennis team will be looking to bounce back and end their dual season on a high note. Fans can catch all the action on Facebook and Twitter as the Falcons aim to secure a victory on their home court.
