Colorado’s Aya El Sayed and Mila Stanojevic have earned All-Pac-12 honors, marking the fourth consecutive season that the Buffaloes have had players on the all-league list. El Sayed, a second-team selection, joins an elite group of CU players who have received above honorable mention honors, including Nuria Ormeno Ruiz and Antonia Balzert. This trio is the only group in CU history to be recognized on an All-Pac-12 team more than once.

El Sayed boasts an impressive 19-11 record this season, with notable victories including a win over defending national champion Tian Fangran. She is ranked No. 117 in the ITA rankings and has excelled in doubles play alongside Pia Rebec, with a 14-7 record and a No. 59 national ranking. Stanojevic, on the other hand, has been a force at No. 3 singles, compiling a 13-6 dual record and an 18-12 overall record in singles action. She has also found success in doubles play with Elys Ventura, earning a No. 80 national ranking.

Both El Sayed and Stanojevic will lead the Buffs into the postseason for the second consecutive year, a feat that has not been achieved by CU in over two decades. The team will enter the 2024 UTR Sports NIT Championship as the top seed, facing off against St. Mary’s of California in the first round. Fans can catch all the action live on Amazon Prime, as the Buffaloes look to make a splash in the postseason.
