DesignStudio has unveiled the new identity for Compound, a revolutionary healthcare solution offered by Eucalyptus, an Australian digital healthcare company. Compound aims to bring elite-level tools, information, and support to the everyday individual, focusing on preventative healthcare and performance enhancement.

The design team at DesignStudio was tasked with creating a brand that clearly communicated Compound’s unique offerings and credibility in the health and wellness sector. Through a process of research and exploration, the team arrived at the brand idea ‘To The Power Of’, which led to the selection of the name Compound for its connotations of strength and solidity.

The brand’s icon, featuring three progressively larger human forms, symbolizes the impact of small incremental changes on overall health and fitness. The visual treatments draw inspiration from the diagnostic phase of the Compound program, incorporating vibrant colors and pixelated imagery to reflect the scientific inputs and data-driven approach of the brand.

Typography plays a key role in reinforcing the brand’s narrative, with a custom blackletter logotype chosen to stand out in a sea of generic health and wellness branding. Rhetorik and Neue Haas Grotesk were selected for their authoritative and trustworthy qualities, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand system.

One of the standout features of Compound’s branding is the personalized version of the brand mark, created by hand to reflect each individual’s unique journey and goals. This emphasis on personalization and co-creation sets Compound apart in the crowded healthcare market, offering clients a truly bespoke experience.
