Australian surfer Callum Robinson and his two friends, Jake Robinson and Jack Carter Rhoad, met a tragic end during their trip to Mexico last month. The trio was found slain at the bottom of a 50-foot well in Baja Mexico, leaving their loved ones devastated.

Callum’s girlfriend, Emily Horwath, shared a heartbreaking voice message he had left her before the tragic incident. In the message, Callum expressed his love and positivity, wishing her a phenomenal day and sending his love. Horwath posted the message on her Instagram story, along with photos of her and Callum, expressing her deep love and gratitude for him.

The three friends were last seen alive on April 27 in Ensenada, Mexico. Initially thought to be victims of a violent carjacking, Mexican authorities later arrested three individuals in connection to their disappearance. However, suspicions arose that the trio may have been mistaken for members of a rival gang and killed by cartel members.

The tragic incident has raised questions about the safety of travelers in Mexico, especially in regions affected by drug-related violence. Horwath’s emotional posts and the details surrounding the friends’ deaths serve as a reminder to cherish loved ones and live life to the fullest every day. The investigation into the incident continues, shedding light on the dangers faced by unsuspecting tourists in certain areas of Mexico.
