A woman from Adelaide, Australia, was left shocked and terrified after her Uber driver was caught masturbating while driving her home during rush hour traffic. Tayla Pimlott, aged 26, recounted her harrowing experience, saying she was “holding back tears” and feared for her safety during what was supposed to be a quick and quiet journey.
Ms Pimlott was on a 20-minute journey from her home to Campbelltown in October 2023 when she noticed something unusual in the front seat. Upon looking up from her phone, she discovered the driver was masturbating behind the wheel. She immediately contacted her mother and boyfriend, and even captured video evidence of the incident to use for police.
The 26-year-old considered various options, including calling the police, screaming at the driver, or trying to jump out of the moving vehicle. However, she ultimately decided to stay calm and pretend she had not seen anything, fearing the driver might react violently if confronted.
After reporting the incident to Uber, the company swiftly terminated the driver and released a statement condemning his actions. The individual was later arrested by the police and sentenced to four weeks in jail.
