The man behind the iconic “Back to the Future” trilogy, Bob Gale, is calling out a recent TikTok video that claims to have captured a real-life time traveler. In the video, posted by Alec Schaal, a man is seen entering a shed and emerging looking much older, supposedly after traveling through time.

Gale, who wrote the scripts for the beloved ’80s films, is skeptical of the video’s authenticity. He points out that in the “Back to the Future” movies, characters do not age when they travel through time. This leads him to believe that the video is a hoax and that the man in question may have used makeup or special effects to create the illusion of aging.

Despite the convincing nature of the footage, Gale remains unconvinced. He humorously suggests that the man may have an “aging machine” or a makeup kit to achieve the appearance of aging, or that it could simply be a case of mistaken identity.

While Alec Schaal believes he has captured an actual time traveler on camera, Gale is not ready to declare it a genuine case of time travel just yet. He jokes that perhaps they need “an extra gigawatt or two” to truly prove the validity of the video.

In the world of “Back to the Future,” where time travel is a central theme, Gale’s skepticism adds an interesting twist to this viral video. As the debate over the authenticity of the footage continues, one thing is certain – the allure of time travel remains a captivating topic for many.
