AYANEO Unveils Retro-Inspired REMAKE Products at Product Sharing Session

AYANEO, known for its handheld gaming PCs and devices running on Android, recently introduced a new line of products at its REMAKE Product Sharing Session event on May 18. Among the highlights was the Game Boy-style Pocket DMG, a modern take on Nintendo’s classic handheld console with additional controls like mappable back buttons, poised to compete with the Analogue Pocket.

The event also showcased the retro mini PC and the Pocket Micro, a smaller version of the Pocket DMG with fewer features. However, the standout product was the Starship Graphics Dock AG01, a GPU dock designed for AYANEO’s Windows handhelds. The sci-fi-themed dock, inspired by space exploration, promises enhanced performance for PC gaming when connected to a larger screen like a TV or monitor.

Powered by AMD’s Radeon RX 7600M XT mobile graphics card, the AG01 boasts 8GB of GDDR6 RAM and a game frequency of 2300MHz, offering up to 120W of GPU power. While AYANEO has not announced a release date for these products, the community will have a say in choosing the color for the Starship GPU Dock, with options like Nebula Red and Cosmic Gray.

Excitement surrounds these upcoming releases, although the exact timeline remains uncertain. The Retro Power Bank, inspired by retro consoles like the Famicom/NES and Super Famicom/Super NES, may hit the market sooner due to its simpler design.
