Ayaneo, a Hong Kong-based handheld manufacturer, has just unveiled its latest flagship gaming device, the Ayaneo Pocket S. This new handheld is set to rival popular gaming devices like the Asus ROG Ally and the Razer Edge, as it is the first to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 gaming platform.
The Ayaneo Pocket S boasts impressive specs, including an 8-core CPU with a clock speed of 3.36 GHz and an Adreno A32 GPU that offers double the graphics capability of its predecessor. The device comes in two resolution options – 1080p starting at $399 and 1440p starting at $439, with prices varying based on the RAM + storage configuration.
Pre-orders for the Ayaneo Pocket S are currently available through a crowdfunding campaign, with the 1080p version expected to ship by mid-May and the 1440p model by late June. The handheld features a 6-inch IPS LCD screen, a 6,000 mAh battery, and runs on Android 13 OS with AYAHome Launcher.
