B.C. musician’s Canucks-inspired video earns him a performance opportunity at Rogers Arena playoff pregame

Vancouver Canucks fan and musician Adam Kushner, known as Noble Son, has released a new single titled ‘Slapshot!’ to pump up fans for the Canucks playoff run. The song, which features Kushner in a classic ‘flying skate’ jersey surrounded by referees, is a tribute to the love of the game and the emotions it evokes.

Kushner, a die-hard Canucks fan, expressed his passion for the team and the sport, stating that he wanted to create content to boost playoff morale for the Canucks. His efforts paid off when he caught the attention of Rogers Arena’s music man DJ Tom Fleming, who played ‘Slapshot!’ during a commercial break in Game 1 of the playoffs against the Nashville Predators.

Following the success of getting his song played in the arena, Kushner is now set to perform ‘Slapshot!’ in the fan zone outside Rogers Arena before the Canucks face off against the Edmonton Oilers. He is also campaigning to have the song included in the EA Sports hockey video game soundtrack and hopes to pack an upcoming show at Vancouver’s Fox Cabaret with the help of Canucks fans.

While Kushner is rooting for the Canucks in the playoffs, he emphasized that ‘Slapshot!’ is for all hockey fans and hopes to hear it played in arenas across the league. With his infectious enthusiasm and catchy tune, Kushner is on a mission to spread the love of hockey through his music.
