Job description: Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Backend Devops Engineer to join an up-and-coming company as they expand their team into the spacecraft analysis industry. This opportunity is hybrid in which that candidate will primarily work remote, but will need to be local to the Denver area to attend regular meetings. The Backend Devops Engineer will work rather indepently and provide technical expertise in a fast-paced environment, helping to expand business operations into the federal space.Responsibilities for the Backend Devops Engineer include:

• Develop backend software capabilities in a DevSecOps environment and assist iwth the software deployment for ground systems communications with satelittes
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and workflows for an AWS environment
• Automate application infrastucture and assist with containerization using Terraform and Kubernetes
• Provide on-premise support and expand the current portfolio

Required Qualifications for the Backend Devops Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience with DevOps development focused in the backend
• Experience with Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Active Secert to TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation for the Backend Devops Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $140,000-180,000/year **depending on experience**
