Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia has found himself in the midst of a doping controversy after United World Wrestling (UWW) suspended him until December 31, 2024. However, Punia has vehemently denied the allegations of refusing to give his urine sample for doping control.

While NADA suspended Punia for the alleged refusal, his legal counsel has filed a reply to the notice, and a hearing before an anti-doping disciplinary panel is pending.
