Lock Haven football standout running back Chris Collier has officially made his mark in the NFL after being signed by the Baltimore Ravens following the 2024 NFL draft on Saturday night. This historic signing marks the first time a Bald Eagle player has been added to an NFL roster since Mike Packer with the Jets in 1972.

Collier’s journey to the NFL gained momentum after his impressive performance at the Pro Day held at Temple University on March 26. He showcased his athleticism by finishing in the top-ten among NFL Combine running backs in various drills, including the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical/broad jump, shuttle, and three-cone drill.

The next step for Collier is the Ravens’ rookie minicamp, where he will have the opportunity to prove himself among other talented rookies. His exceptional performance during his graduate season with the Bald Eagles earned him numerous accolades, including being named to the D2football.com Elite 100, first-team AFCA DII All-American, and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

His impressive stats, including leading the PSAC in total rushing yards and rushing yards-per-game, solidified his place in the school’s history books as the first 1,000-yard rusher since 1981.
