The Burr and Burton girls tennis team faced a tough challenge in their playoff opener against No. 7 U-32, but ultimately emerged victorious with a 4-3 win. The match took place on a scorching hot day, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s and players taking extended breaks to manage the heat.

Despite missing their No. 1 singles player Meredith Haber due to shin splints, the Bulldogs fought hard against the Raiders. Molly Hershberg stepped up to the No. 1 singles role and put up a strong fight against U-32’s Salome Tchantouridze, but ultimately fell in a close match.
