Bengaluru secures fifth consecutive victory to maintain IPL play-off aspirations

Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their winning streak in the IPL with a dominant 47-run victory over Delhi Capitals in Bengaluru on Sunday. Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders lead the table and have already qualified for the next stage. The top four teams will make it to the play-offs, with the final scheduled for May 26 in Chennai.

Virat Kohli continued his stellar form, leading the way with a quickfire 27 off 13 balls for Bengaluru. Patidar and Will Jacks then combined for an 88-run partnership to set up the win.

Delhi’s chase faltered early on, losing key wickets in the powerplay. Stand-in-skipper Axar Patel fought hard with a fifty, but it wasn’t enough as Bengaluru’s bowlers sealed the win.
