The 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards is just around the corner, and fans are buzzing with excitement over the impressive list of nominees. While Beyoncé’s debut country album “Cowboy Carter” won’t be in the running this year due to its March 2024 release, there are plenty of other talented artists vying for the coveted awards.

Leading the pack with eight nominations is Luke Combs, who is up for Entertainer, Male Artist, and Album of the Year. Kacey Musgraves also received nods for Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year for her album “Deeper Well.” Sheryl Crow and Yellowstone actor Luke Grimes are among the artists who will have to wait until 2025 for their shot at an ACM award.

In a surprising twist, Tracy Chapman became a first-time ACM nominee thanks to Luke Combs’ cover of her song “Fast Car,” which earned her a songwriting nod under Song of the Year. Other top nominees include Megan Moroney, Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson.

One standout nominee is Jelly Roll, who received four nominations, including one for Entertainer of the Year in his first year being nominated. Fans can tune in to the 2024 ACM Awards airing on Amazon’s Prime Video on May 16 at 8 p.m. ET to see who will take home the prestigious awards and who will be left with achy breaky hearts.
