Biden campaign taunts Trump during Dr. Phil interview about classified documents case

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former President Donald Trump sat down for an interview with TV psychologist Dr. Phil, where he took aim at President Biden, claiming he is being controlled by “very evil forces” with a “sick ideology.” Trump did not specify who these controlling forces were, but suggested they were smart and energetic believers in their ideology.

As the interview aired, the Biden-Harris HQ Twitter account took the opportunity to troll Trump, pointing out the similarities between the stage in the interview and a photo of boxes of classified documents at the center of one of the criminal cases against Trump. The former president was charged with illegally retaining classified documents taken from the White House to his Mar-a-Lago estate after leaving office in January 2021.

The trial for this case has stalled in Florida federal court, with Trump’s supporters, including House judiciary chairperson Jim Jordan, attempting to defund the activities of prosecutors involved in politically sensitive investigations, including special counsel Jack Smith.

This classified documents case is just one of four criminal cases Trump is facing, including being the first former US president to be criminally convicted for falsifying business records related to a “hush money” payment to Stormy Daniels. He is also involved in two other cases related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Despite the charges against him, Trump maintains his innocence and denies all allegations. The ongoing legal battles continue to keep the former president in the spotlight as he faces multiple legal challenges.
