Biden refers to former president Trump as ‘unhinged’ in latest news

Reading Time: < 1 minute

U.S. President Joe Biden has labeled former President Donald Trump as “clearly unhinged” following his loss in the 2020 election. Speaking at a private fundraiser in Seattle, Biden expressed his belief that something had “snapped” in Trump after his defeat.

Despite his concerns about Trump’s mental state, Biden acknowledged that the upcoming November election is expected to be a close race. Recent polls have shown Trump maintaining a slight advantage over Biden, with the former president’s support holding steady at 49 percent among registered voters.

While Trump has been preoccupied with his hush money trial in Manhattan, Biden has been actively engaging in policy speeches and campaign events. Taking jabs at Trump’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, Biden humorously recalled the former president’s suggestion to inject bleach into veins, quipping that “it all went to his hair.”

The fundraiser in Washington state was hosted at the home of former Microsoft executive Jon Shirley, where Biden assured donors that he would do his best not to disappoint them. As the campaign season heats up, both candidates are gearing up for a fierce battle for the presidency.

With tensions running high between Biden and Trump, the stage is set for a contentious election season. As the two political heavyweights continue to trade barbs and rally their supporters, the nation braces for what promises to be a closely contested race for the White House.
