‘Big Brother’ Star Christmas Abbott Denies Domestic Violence Allegations

Reading Time: < 1 minute

“Huge Brother” star Christmas Abbott has made a surprising decision regarding her ex, Memphis Garrett. Despite previously seeking a restraining order against him for alleged domestic violence back in March, Christmas has voluntarily dismissed her petition, TMZ reports.

Sources familiar with the situation reveal that Christmas decided to drop the restraining order after Memphis agreed to a no-contact arrangement. While it may seem like they are on good terms now, Christmas insists that their marriage was unhealthy and abusive.

In a statement to TMZ, Christmas explains, “While I loved Memphis, I believe our marriage was unhealthy and abusive. I was granted temporary protection from the courts after demonstrating what I feel was domestic abuse. Though we are currently in divorce proceedings, we both put our families first.”

Christmas and Memphis, who met on “Big Brother: All-Stars” and got married in 2022, have decided to go their separate ways. Memphis will remain in the family home with his son from a previous relationship, while Christmas plans to start fresh in a new home with her son from her previous relationship with Benjamin Bunn.

Despite the tumultuous end to their relationship, Christmas wishes Memphis well in the future and hopes they can both move on from this chapter in their lives. It remains to be seen how this decision will impact their ongoing divorce proceedings, but for now, both parties are focused on putting their families first.
