Big West Reveals 2024 Men’s Tennis All-Conference Teams and Awards

The 2024 All-Big West men’s tennis teams and major award winners have been revealed, with UC Santa Barbara’s Pablo Masjuan taking home the prestigious title of The Big West Player of the Year. Masjuan, a senior from Madrid, Spain, showcased an impressive 13-6 record in singles play at the No. 1 position, with a 4-2 mark in league play. Alongside his partner Gianluca Brunkow, Masjuan also secured a spot on the first team all doubles list, going undefeated in Big West competition.

Andy Nguyen, a freshman from UC Irvine, was named The Big West Freshman of the Year after accumulating an 18-5 record and showcasing his talent across multiple positions throughout the season. UC Irvine head coach Mike Saunders was honored as The Big West Coach of the Year for leading the Anteaters to a 17-6 record and securing the Big West Men’s Tennis Championship title.

The All-Big West First Team features standout players like Noah Berry from Cal Poly, Constantinos Djakouris from UC Davis, and Enrique Luque Rico from UC Irvine. The doubles pairing on the first team includes top performers like Brunkow and Masjuan from UC Santa Barbara and Dhokia and Zamora from UC Irvine.
