Two Williamsport business owners, Vincent and Selina Pulizzi, were recently honored by U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser at the House Small Business Committee’s “Small Business Showcase” event in the Capitol Building. The event aimed to shed light on the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and small business owners during President Joe Biden’s Administration.

Labels by Pulizzi, a family-owned custom printing company established in 1968, was one of only 15 businesses showcased at the event. Employing 32 people in Lycoming County, the business has provided clients with over a billion custom labels since its inception.

Rep. Meuser emphasized the importance of small businesses in the American economy, stating, “We champion small businesses across Pennsylvania for all they do to support our local economies.” He highlighted the hurdles faced by entrepreneurs and expressed his commitment to advocating for pro-growth initiatives that benefit small businesses.

The Pulizzis, as third-generation owners of a label manufacturer in central Pennsylvania, acknowledged the current economic climate and stressed the importance of working together with leaders to initiate change. They expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to showcase their business at the event and share their experiences with Members of Congress.

Overall, the Small Business Showcase served as a platform to raise awareness about the impact of regulations and taxes on small businesses and to advocate for policies that support their growth and success. Rep. Meuser and the Pulizzis are dedicated to promoting a business-friendly environment and overcoming the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in today’s economy.
