Director Blessy has put an end to the controversy surrounding the intimate scenes with a goat in the movie ‘Aadujeevitham’. Speculations had been circulating about whether the controversial scene from the book was actually filmed for the movie, but Blessy has clarified that no such scenes were ever shot or submitted to the censor board.
In an interview with Manorama News’s ‘Nere Chovve’, Blessy addressed the rumours, calling them unnecessary and possibly deliberate. He urged the audience to distance themselves from such false information.
Blessy explained that while adapting the 43-page novel into a movie script, he had to make choices about what to include. He emphasized that the movie is from his perspective and includes elements not present in the book, aiming to capture the essence of the novel.
Regarding the controversial scene with the goat, Blessy revealed that discussions had taken place during the scripting stage. He considered the implications for the character of Najeeb and decided not to film the scene in order to stay true to his interpretation of the character’s emotions and guilt.
With Blessy’s clarification, it seems that the controversy surrounding ‘Aadujeevitham’ can finally be put to rest, allowing the audience to focus on the movie itself and appreciate the director’s vision for the adaptation.
