In a thrilling high school softball matchup, Bellwood-Antis emerged victorious over Williamsburg in a completion of a suspended game from earlier in the season. The Lady Blue Devils secured an 11-5 win, thanks to a stellar performance from winning pitcher Palynn Gregg, who struck out 13 batters and also contributed with a double.

Key players for Bellwood-Antis included Parker Martin, Lainey Quick, and Kat Garman, who each had two hits in the game. On the other side, MeCenzie Calderwood stood out for the Lady Blue Pirates with two RBIs, while Billy Harnish added another.

In a separate game, Central dominated Bellwood-Antis with an 11-1 victory. Alexis Fetzer led the Lady Dragons with two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs. Aubry Rhodes also had a standout performance with three hits, while Madison Kennedy recorded two hits and Ashlyn Renner and Kaylee Kensinger each contributed two RBIs.

Lastly, Glendale cruised to an 11-1 win over Moshannon Valley, with Alyson Buterbaugh leading the charge with two hits and three RBIs. Kaprice Cavalet and Jayden Fry also made significant contributions to the Lady Vikings’ victory.

Overall, it was an action-packed day of high school softball with Bellwood-Antis, Central, and Glendale emerging as the standout teams with impressive wins.
