Bobby Green Calls Out Paddy Pimblett Ahead of UFC 304 Showdown
As the highly anticipated UFC 304 event approaches, Bobby Green has not been shy about sharing his thoughts on his opponent, Paddy Pimblett. In a recent interview on The MMA Hour, Green had some choice words for the undefeated lightweight fighter.
Green praised Pimblett’s skills inside the octagon, acknowledging that he is a solid fighter. However, Green took issue with Pimblett’s trash-talking and lack of humility, particularly after his controversial decision win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282.
“Shut the f*ck up, Paddy. Why? Because he started talking about the Jared [Gordon] fight. And not only that, he doubled down on that sh*t, like, ‘No, I whooped his ass.’ Like, bro, everybody can see you lost that fight. And so, just be humble. He’s not humble, This sh*t’s going to humble him up,” Green said.
The upcoming fight between Green and Pimblett at UFC 304 in Manchester is expected to be a pivotal matchup in the lightweight division. Despite facing backlash for the event’s early start time catering more to the U.S. audience, Green remains focused and ready to face Pimblett at any hour.
“We attack at dawn. I’ve been on my little Game of Thrones sh*t right now, and that’s where I’m on — like, we get the soldiers ready to wake up and go play and kill at dawn. In the middle of the dawn, 4 a.m., I’m getting up, and I’m going to have to kill him. That’s what we’re going to do,” Green declared.
With tensions running high and both fighters eager to prove themselves, the UFC 304 showdown between Green and Pimblett is sure to be one for the books.
