Bobrovsky and Shesterkin Dueling Save-for-Save in Panthers-Rangers Series for Eastern Conference Title

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Eastern Conference Finals have turned into a thrilling goaltender showdown between the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers. With the series tied at one game apiece, Russian netminders Sergei Bobrovsky and Igor Shesterkin have been putting on a show between the pipes.

Both Bobrovsky and Shesterkin, past Vezina Trophy winners, have been nearly flawless in the series so far. Each goalie has allowed just two goals, with the margin of victory in each game being razor-thin.

The Rangers managed to even the series with a 2-1 overtime win in Game 2, thanks to Barclay Goodrow’s heroics. Goodrow, who has been clutch for the Rangers in the playoffs, scored the game-winner to give New York a much-needed split before hitting the road for Games 3 and 4.

The goaltending battle has been intense, with both Bobrovsky and Shesterkin posting impressive numbers. The two goalies have been almost mirror images of each other throughout the regular season and playoffs, making for an exciting and nail-biting series.

As the Panthers and Rangers continue to battle it out, fans can expect more heart-stopping moments and incredible saves from two of the best goalies in the league. The series is shaping up to be a classic showdown between two evenly matched teams, with the outcome hanging in the balance as the Eastern Conference Finals unfold.
