The State College Area High School boys tennis team is on a winning streak after a heartbreaking loss in the 2023 finals served as motivation for the 2024 season. The team secured a spot in the PIAA Class 3A tournament with a 3-0 victory over Hollidaysburg, following a similar win against Altoona.

Coach Jane Borden expressed pride in the team’s hard work and determination, highlighting the significance of redemption after last year’s defeat. The players, including singles standout Will Liu and doubles champion Mark Sandow, showcased their skills and resilience on the court.
