Bradish, along with 2 relievers, hold Rays to 2 hits as Henderson’s 3-run homer leads Orioles to 5-0 victory

In a stunning display of pitching prowess, Kyle Bradish led the Baltimore Orioles to a 5-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday. Bradish, who went six innings, combined with two relievers to limit the Rays to just two hits in the game.

After allowing an infield single in the first inning, Bradish retired 18 consecutive batters, showcasing his dominance on the mound. His performance left his teammates and manager in awe, with Gunnar Henderson praising Bradish’s “amazing start” and manager Brandon Hyde commending his ability to keep the ball out of the outfield.

Bradish, who started the season sidelined by an elbow injury, has been steadily improving with each outing. His stellar performance against the Rays follows a previous seven-inning hitless game against the Chicago White Sox.

Offensively, Ryan O’Hearn and Gunnar Henderson contributed to the Orioles’ victory with a home run each, further solidifying the team’s position as the major league leader in home runs this season.

The win marks the Orioles’ 12th victory in their last 16 games, highlighting their strong performance on the road. On the other hand, the Rays have struggled at home, losing 11 of their last 15 games at Tropicana Field.

With both teams looking to make a statement in the competitive AL East division, the stage is set for an exciting series finale between Grayson Rodriguez of the Orioles and Zack Littell of the Rays on Sunday.
