Brendan Steele emerged victorious at the LIV Golf Adelaide tournament after a thrilling final round at The Grange Golf Club. The three-time PGA Tour winner showcased his skills and composure as he finished 18 under par, just one stroke ahead of Louis Oosthuizen.

Steele, 41, displayed his experience and talent on the course, shooting a final-round 68 to secure his first victory since 2017. Despite facing some putting challenges in the back nine, Steele managed to hold off a strong challenge from Oosthuizen, who finished second at 17 under par.

The tournament also saw former Masters winners Charl Schwartzel and Jon Rahm in contention, finishing in a group of five players at 16 under par. Rahm, a former world No 1, put up an impressive performance with an eagle and six birdies in his eight-under 64 round.

In the team format, the Australian team Ripper GC, led by Cameron Smith, clinched victory against the South African-based team, Stingers GC, in a thrilling playoff. The win delighted the local crowd and added to the excitement of the event.

The LIV Golf tour will now move to the Asia region for the upcoming Singapore event at the Sentosa Golf Club. With a month-long break before the next tournament in Houston, fans can look forward to more thrilling golf action in the coming weeks.
