In a thrilling pitchers’ duel at Bob Cene Park on Tuesday, Cardinal Mooney’s Johnny Brenner outdueled Columbiana’s Devin Daugherty in a 2-0 victory for the Cardinals. Brenner threw a dominant complete-game shutout, allowing just one hit and striking out a total of 12 batters.

Despite Brenner’s stellar performance on the mound, the Cardinals struggled offensively, with Daugherty holding them to just four hits and one earned run over six innings.
