Brian Weinstein Named Co-CEO of 3 Arts by Lionsgate

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Brian Weinstein, a seasoned executive with a background in talent management and strategic partnerships, has joined Lionsgate as co-CEO of 3 Arts Entertainment and senior advisor to the office of the CEO. Weinstein, who previously served as president and COO of Bad Robot, will work closely with Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer to guide strategic moves and expansion for the Hollywood studio.

With Lionsgate recently increasing its majority stake in 3 Arts, Weinstein’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for both companies. As co-CEO of 3 Arts alongside Michael Rotenberg, Weinstein will lead the Los Angeles-based management firm and collaborate with its partners to drive dynamic growth.

Having played a key role at Bad Robot, Weinstein brings a wealth of experience in overseeing daily operations, developing new revenue streams, and fostering strategic partnerships. His arrival at Lionsgate coincides with the studio’s transition to a standalone, publicly traded entity, following the merger with Screaming Eagle Acquisition Corp.

In his new role, Weinstein aims to leverage the talent base at 3 Arts, along with the recently-acquired eOne business, to navigate the evolving media landscape and capitalize on industry disruptions. With a focus on unscripted TV and global expansion, Lionsgate is poised to thrive under Weinstein’s leadership and strategic vision.

As Lionsgate continues to innovate and adapt to industry changes, Weinstein’s appointment signals a new chapter of growth and opportunity for the renowned entertainment company. His entrepreneurial spirit and track record of success make him a valuable addition to Lionsgate’s executive team.
