BRICS CCI Report Advocates for Empowering Women in Tech and Entrepreneurship

The BRICS 2024 report has shed light on the importance of women’s empowerment in technology and entrepreneurship, emphasizing both achievements and areas for improvement. Indian women have made notable contributions to STEM fields, but they still encounter obstacles in accessing leadership roles and venture capital funding. Similarly, Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, and Iran have shown varying levels of women’s participation in tech and business sectors.

The report emphasizes India’s role in advancing gender equality initiatives within the BRICS framework and calls for prioritizing gender equality to create an inclusive environment for women in business.
