In honor of Speech Language Pathologist Day on May 18, the Dorchester County Public Schools team of Speech Language Pathologists were recognized for their dedication to helping students improve their communication skills. These professionals play a crucial role in enhancing academic progress and building confidence among students. The team includes Erin Beelen, Gabby Leclerc, Beth McDonald, Taylor Palamaras, Carol Lee Russ, Larissa Street, Nicole Toye, Natalie Trice, Ren Singh, and Morgan Widdowson.

At North Dorchester Middle School, 8th-grade students are gearing up for their End of the Year events, including a formal on June 1, locker cleanout and practice/picnic on June 10, and a Promotion Ceremony on June 11.

The search for a new Superintendent in Dorchester County is underway, with notes from the Community Visioning Sessions available on the DCPS website for public review.

Meanwhile, North Dorchester High School is keeping the school spirit alive with upcoming Spirit Days, including Twin Day, Tie Die Day, and Tropical Day.
