Junior Chase Haglund set the tone early with a leadoff home run in the first inning, finishing the game 3 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Senior Garrett Brink also had a strong performance, going 2 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI.
On the defensive side, Brink was equally impressive, throwing a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks. The lone hit for Brocton came from Nate Laurito, who also managed to steal a base during the game.
