In a thrilling match-up between Brocton and Frewsburg, the Bears dominated with an 11-0 victory in five innings of Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 baseball. Junior Chase Haglund set the tone early with a leadoff home run in the first inning, finishing the game 3 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Senior Garrett Brink also had a strong performance, going 2 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI.

On the defensive side, Brink was equally impressive, throwing a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks. The lone hit for Brocton came from Nate Laurito, who also managed to steal a base during the game.

Meanwhile, in other Division action, Gowanda had a strong showing against Cattaraugus-Little Valley, scoring five runs in the third inning and seven more in the fifth to secure a 14-4 victory. Blake Herman led the Panthers with two hits, three runs scored, and an RBI, while Carter Capozzi contributed with a double, a run scored, and an RBI.

In Division 1, Southwestern showcased their offensive prowess with 18 hits in a 24-6 victory over Falconer. The Trojans rallied after an early 4-0 deficit in the first inning, with Judd Harris, Jameson Walsh, and Peter Conley leading the charge at the plate.
