Kirtland residents Finn and Bowen Alexy recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. Bowen received Cum Laude Honors with a degree in marketing and a minor in professional sales, while Finn received Magna Cum Laude Honors with a degree in Entrepreneurship.
Bowen’s achievements include being named to the Dean’s list multiple times, representing an organization at an international conference, and participating in a philanthropic visit to Peru to improve working conditions for miners. Finn, on the other hand, excelled academically with a perfect GPA and faculty honors. He also won the BTS x UC Innovation Challenge and worked as a consultant for a clothing brand.
Both brothers, aged 20 and 21 respectively, will now join their family’s business, Alexy Metals, as Chief Operating Officers. Alexy Metals, based in Willoughby, specializes in brazing alloy distribution and precious metal refining. The company is set for growth following the acquisition of a Florida-based company in 2023.
The Alexy brothers’ success at the University of Cincinnati has prepared them well for their roles in the family business. Their dedication to academic excellence and real-world experiences will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of Alexy Metals in the years to come.
