Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a thrilling Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics emerged victorious over the Indiana Pacers with a final score of 126-110. The standout performance of the night came from Jaylen Brown, who matched his career playoff high with an impressive 40 points. Brown’s stellar performance included 10 crucial points that helped the Celtics go on a 20-0 run in the first half, allowing them to take the lead for good.

Teammates Jayson Tatum and Derrick White also made significant contributions, scoring 23 points each, while Jrue Holiday added 15 points and 10 assists. The top-seeded Celtics now hold a commanding 2-0 lead in the series, putting them in a strong position as they head to Indiana for Games 3 and 4.

Despite a valiant effort from the Pacers, led by Pascal Siakam’s 28 points, they were unable to overcome the Celtics’ dominant performance. Tyrese Haliburton, who had been a key player for Indiana in Game 1, was limited to 10 points and eight assists before leaving the game in the third quarter due to a sore left leg.

The game saw multiple lead changes in the first quarter, but Boston’s decisive 20-0 run in the second quarter proved to be the turning point. Brown’s scoring prowess and the Celtics’ strong team effort ultimately secured the victory, with Indiana never managing to close the gap to single digits in the second half.

As the series shifts to Indiana for the next two games, the Celtics will look to maintain their momentum and secure a commanding lead. With Brown leading the charge and a strong supporting cast, Boston appears poised to continue their playoff success and advance to the next round.
