Bucktail Softball Dominates Sullivan County in Mercy-Rule Victory

Bucktail softball continued their undefeated streak with a dominant 12-1 mercy-rule victory over Sullivan County on Tuesday evening. The Lady Bucks improved to 6-0 on the season, showcasing their strength and skill on their home field after a week of rainouts.

Pitcher Makenzie Wagner was a standout player of the game, both on the mound and at the plate. Wagner threw all five innings, striking out 12 batters and allowing no walks. She also contributed offensively with a solo home run in the third inning. Wagner’s performance was supported by her teammates, with Eva Sockman and Kendal Wagner each recording three hits in the game.

The Bucks’ offense was firing on all cylinders, with multiple players contributing to the run total. Matti Mason, Makenna Stone, and Gianna Balchun each had two hits, while Lola English, Alexis Lowery, and Riley Salizonni also made key contributions.
