The Whitefish boys and girls tennis teams showcased their skills and dominated against Polson in a thrilling matchup on Tuesday, April 23.
The girls team secured a 5-2 victory with outstanding performances from both singles and doubles players. Alivia Lusko set the tone with a strong win in the No. 1 singles matchup against Summer Newman of Polson. Liesl Brust and Dessi Young also secured victories in their respective singles spots. The doubles teams of Camry Kelch and Zoey Marzo, as well as Gretel Vine and Lizzy Holien, contributed to the team’s success with impressive wins.
On the boys side, Whitefish displayed a similar level of dominance with key wins across the board. Jack Oehlerich, Walt Seigmund, and Aaron Anderson secured victories in their singles matchups. The doubles teams of Mason Kelch and Dane Hunt, as well as Jesse Burrough and Buren Brust, also played a crucial role in securing the team’s overall win.
