The Class of 2024 at Campbell University celebrated the end of a unique journey as they participated in the sixth and final commencement ceremony. The ceremony, held over three days, honored graduates from various schools within the university.

Addressing her classmates, Angel Cundiff-Barnes, a health care management graduate, reflected on the challenges and triumphs the class had experienced over the last four years. She encouraged her peers to embrace the future with open arms and hearts, ready to make their mark on the world.

The commencement speaker, Shirley Hoogstra, president of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities, shared eight valuable lessons with the graduates based on important moments in her life. These lessons ranged from embracing mistakes to persisting with passion and celebrating every opportunity.

Among the graduates was Aaron Katzenberger, who completed the PGA Golf Management program and expressed his readiness to use his skills to make a difference in the workforce and the golf industry. Another graduate, Avery Browning, shared her fond memories of winning a goldfish during her freshman year and how it had been a constant companion throughout her college journey.

Engineering graduate Georgia Yeargin advised future students to surround themselves with a diverse group of peers for a successful college experience.

The ceremony also recognized Evan Budrovich, who earned his Master of Business Administration and had been a dedicated advocate for Campbell University through his work on social media.

As the Class of 2024 moves forward from this milestone, they carry with them the memories, lessons, and friendships that have shaped their time at Campbell University.
