Lawson’s Finest Liquids in Waitsfield is gearing up to host the next Mad Mingle Chamber Mixer on Tuesday, May 7. The event will kick off at 5:30 pm in their Tap Room, offering a great opportunity for local business professionals to network and connect with one another. Attendees will also have the chance to meet Lawson’s Finest’s newly appointed CEO, Adeline Druart, and get insights into the upcoming summer season in the business community.

The Mad Mingle will feature a selection of beverages and light appetizers for guests to enjoy while mingling with their peers. Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by emailing info@madrivervalley.com. It promises to be a fun and informative evening for all who participate.

In other news, SunCommon, an iSun company based in Waterbury, is set to plant over 1,200 trees in the Mad River Valley as part of their annual community service initiative. Partnering with Friends of the Mad River and Friends of the Winooski River, SunCommon employees will gather on Friday, April 19, to contribute to the restoration and conservation of Vermont’s natural landscape.

Additionally, the Mad River Valley Recreation District is taking steps to improve bike safety by offering discounted high-quality bike lights through a partnership with Local Motion. Interested individuals can order the lights for $30 by contacting Laura at laura@mrvrpd.org before May 5. The lights are expected to be available for pick up in late May, providing riders with increased visibility and safety on the roads and trails.
