Carlos Prates of UFC Louisville refers to Chael Sonnen as ‘dead prey’ in Anderson Silva boxing match

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Carlos Prates, a rising star in the MMA world, is making waves with his impressive performances in the octagon. After a stunning knockout victory over Mitch Ramirez on Contender Series, UFC CEO Dana White couldn’t help but draw comparisons to legendary fighter Anderson Silva.

Prates, who started his MMA career after excelling in Muay Thai and kickboxing, has been on a tear with an 18-6 record and eight straight wins since late 2019, most of them coming by way of knockout. His next challenge comes in the form of Charles Radtke at UFC Louisville, where he hopes to continue his winning streak and secure another highlight-reel victory.

But it’s not just Prates who has a big fight coming up. Silva, who Prates idolizes, is set to face off against Chael Sonnen in a trilogy bout under exhibition boxing rules in Brazil, just a week after Prates competes at UFC Louisville. Prates is excited about the opportunity to showcase his skills on the same stage as his idol and hopes that both of them come out victorious in their respective fights.

As for his upcoming opponent, Radtke, Prates is confident in his abilities and sees the matchup as favorable for him. He believes that Radtke has never faced someone of his caliber and is ready to exploit any weaknesses in his game.

With the MMA world buzzing about Prates’ potential and his upcoming fight, all eyes will be on him as he looks to make a statement in the octagon and continue his climb towards the top of the sport.
