One standout nominee is Ariana Camacho, a sophomore at Glendale High School, who is making waves on the softball field. As a two-year starter, Ariana leads her team in batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage, showcasing her talent and dedication to the sport. Her coach, Joel Preston, praises her leadership skills and impact on the team, making her a deserving candidate for Student of the Week.

Another remarkable nominee is Kylan Chait, a junior at ASU Prep Digital, whose passion for music and theater has propelled him to success both on and off the stage. Despite juggling a demanding academic schedule, Kylan maintains a commitment to excellence and plans to pursue a degree in performing arts, showcasing his dedication and ambition.

Yael Franco, a senior at Rio Rico High School, is also in the running for Student of the Week, recognized for his integrity, positive spirit, and academic excellence. Despite facing a season-ending injury in wrestling, Yael’s resilience and commitment to learning have earned him acceptance to Arizona State University’s Fulton School of Engineering, highlighting his bright future ahead.

These exceptional students, along with other nominees like Dina Isho from BASIS Mesa and Isabelle Shin from BASIS Flagstaff, exemplify the talent, dedication, and passion of Arizona’s youth.
