“Dahaad” follows Sinha’s character, Anjali Bhaati, a determined cop in Rajasthan who is on the trail of a serial killer. The twist comes when the killer is revealed to be a mild-mannered teacher named Anand Swarnakar, played by Varma. The series has been praised for its gripping storyline and stellar performances.

The production house Tiger Baby shared a photo montage from the show on their official Instagram page, commemorating the milestone. “The hunt #1YearOfDahaad,” the banner read in the post.

Notably, “Dahaad” made history as the first Indian web series to premiere at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival, where it competed for the Berlinale Series Award.

Both Sinha and Varma expressed their gratitude to the audience for their love and support. Sinha, who is currently receiving rave reviews for her latest show “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” described May as a “damn good month” for her. Varma, on the other hand, thanked the viewers for making “Dahaad” a success.

The series also features Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles, with Kagti and Zoya Akhtar serving as co-creators. As the cast and crew celebrate this milestone, fans can expect more thrilling content from these talented actors in the future.
