Celtics Star Surprises Skip Bayless by Emerging Out of Nowhere

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Boston Celtics welcomed back Kristaps Porzingis with open arms on Thursday night, and the talented big man did not disappoint during Game 1 of the NBA Finals. In just 20 minutes of play, Porzingis scored an impressive 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, shooting 61.5% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc.

Fans and analysts alike were amazed by Porzingis’ performance, with Skip Bayless taking to Twitter to praise the big man’s unexpected contribution off the bench. Bayless tweeted, “Porzingis comes out of nowhere off the bench and goes berserk. He had no pressure because no one expected anything from him.”

Prior to Game 1, Porzingis had been sidelined for weeks due to an injury sustained at the start of the playoffs. The Celtics managed to find success without him, but there was no denying the impact of his return to the lineup. Many doubted whether Porzingis would be able to perform at his usual level so soon after his injury, but he quickly put those concerns to rest with his stellar play.

Despite initial worries about his readiness, Porzingis wasted no time making an impact on the court, showcasing his speed, skill, and efficiency. While some may have underestimated his contribution, Boston fans were thrilled to see him back in action and making a difference in such a crucial game.

The Celtics’ success without Porzingis only added to the surprise and excitement surrounding his return, as many had not expected him to play such a significant role in Game 1. As the series progresses, all eyes will be on Porzingis to see if he can continue to deliver for his team and help lead them to victory in the NBA Finals.
